Sawpit Creek picnic area

Nestled beside Sawpit Creek and surrounded by black sallee gums, this picnic area offers a serene spot for relaxation. Accessible from Jindabyne, it's conveniently located near park entry gates. Visitors can enjoy picnics or barbecues, with facilities including picnic tables, wood barbecues (bring your own firewood), and non-flush toilets. The area serves as a starting point for three walking tracks: the short and easy Waterfall walk, the Sawpit walk, and the longer Pallaibo track. Keep an eye out for kangaroos among the trees.
