The Sandy Bay Regatta, established in 1848, is among the world's longest-running regattas. The event features sailing and rowing competitions, including Tasmania's first Coastal Rowing Regatta, and offers 'come and try' sessions for stand-up paddleboarding and sailing. On land, attendees enjoy live music, roving entertainers, and family-friendly games. A highlight is the City of Hobart Citizenship Ceremony, welcoming new Australians.
