At 12 noon daily, the San Remo Fisherman's Co-op feeds wild Australian Pelicans on the foreshore next to the San Remo Pier. This free, educational event offers visitors a chance to observe these magnificent birds up close while learning about their diet, lifestyle, and conservation efforts. The pelican numbers can vary between 5 to 35 birds. After the feeding, visitors can enjoy fresh seafood and fish and chips at the Co-op, which sources sustainable seafood from its own fleet of fish and lobster vessels.
