Established in 1962, Samford Scout Group offers a dynamic program for youth aged 5 to 25 in Samford Village and surrounding areas. The group operates from a well-equipped Scout Den at 62 Cash Avenue North, featuring large outdoor activity spaces, two activity den buildings (one air-conditioned), a circular firepit with seating, canoes and kayaks, billy carts and circuit, an orienteering circuit, and the Samford Creekside environmental area. Adjacent to the Baden-Powell Park activity centre, members have access to camping and hiking areas, a 15m heated pool, and a vertical climbing skills tower. The group comprises Joey Scouts (5-8 years), Cub Scouts (8-11 years), Scouts (11-14 years), Venturer Scouts (14-18 years), and Rover Scouts (18-25 years), all engaging in activities that promote fun, friendships, and 'learning by doing'. The Scout Den is conveniently located just a minute's walk from Samford Main Street, offering ample free parking and proximity to local shops, restaurants, cafes, and fitness centres.
