Established in 2004, Salt Surf Life Saving Club is dedicated to ensuring the safety of Salt Beach, from Salt Village to Casuarina, on the New Tweed Coast. Volunteers patrol the beach on weekends and public holidays from September through May, with additional support from the Australian Lifeguard Service during NSW school holidays. The club fosters a strong community spirit, offering programs for all ages and abilities, including the popular Salt Nippers program for children aged 5 to 13. Regular social events strengthen connections among members and local residents.
