The Bright RSL Sub-Branch, established in 1916 by soldiers returning from Gallipoli, continues to honor the spirit of mateship and support for veterans. Located on Camp Street, it offers a welcoming environment for members and guests. Every Friday from 4:30 pm, the RSL hosts a flexible "Happy Hour," featuring camaraderie, entertainment, and prizes. Membership is open to ex-service personnel, their families, and current or former members of the Australian Police Force, Fire Brigade, Ambulance Service, and State Emergency Service. The Women's Auxiliary plays a vital role in supporting welfare activities, including visits to homes, hospitals, and aged care facilities.
