Schotia Place, located at 201 Bolsover Street in Rockhampton, is a heritage-listed community centre dedicated to seniors and individuals with disabilities. The centre offers a variety of activities, including low-impact fitness classes every Wednesday morning, and a musical morning tea and lunch on the second, third, and fourth Thursdays of each month. These events feature live entertainment, raffles, and the opportunity to purchase homemade snacks. Additionally, Schotia Place hosts a weekly Hoy session on Fridays. The centre is also available for private functions and excursions. Bus pickup is available by arrangement for those in need. Schotia Place is grateful for the support received from the Rockhampton Regional Council's Community Assistance Program.
