Robert Blackwood Hall, located at Monash University's Clayton campus, is Melbourne's premier concert venue outside the CBD. Designed by Sir Roy Grounds, it boasts exceptional acoustics, making it ideal for classical and choral performances. The hall features the Sir Louis Matheson pipe organ and two Steinway Model D Grand pianos. With a climate-controlled auditorium seating up to 1,515, it hosts a variety of events, including graduations and commercial recordings. The foyers display artworks by Australian artists, such as Arthur Boyd, and the Lindesay Clark stained glass window by Leonard French.
