Risdon Brook Park, located approximately 15 minutes from Hobart, is a serene recreational area surrounding one of Tasmania's largest drinking water reservoirs. The 4.5 km gravel track encircling the reservoir is ideal for walking, running, and cycling, offering picturesque views of the bushland and nearby mountains. Amenities include accessible fishing bays, public toilets, a children's playground, and picnic areas with barbecue facilities. Please note, dogs and other domestic pets are not permitted to protect water quality. The park operates from 7:30 am to 4:30 pm, extending to 8:00 pm during daylight saving time.
