The Riddoch Arts & Cultural Centre in Mount Gambier showcases an ever-changing calendar of local artists alongside works of national significance. Housing over 1,500 items, the state's foremost regional collection includes paintings and prints depicting the people and history of the Limestone Coast, as well as significant Aboriginal and 20th-century Australian art. Visitors can enjoy the daily screening of 'Volcano,' a cinematic journey through the region's volcanic history, and a stunning light display in the Cave Garden that illuminates the building's exterior with historic photos and footage. Interactive exhibits and school holiday activities engage children, making it a family-friendly destination. The centre also offers venues for exhibitions, seminars, performances, meetings, and conferences. Open Monday to Friday from 10 am to 5 pm, and weekends and public holidays from 10 am to 2 pm, with free entry.
