Richley Reserve Playground, nestled within Blackbutt Reserve in New Lambton, offers a vibrant 60-meter adventure playground that caters to children of all ages and abilities. The playground is divided into two main sections: one designed for younger children featuring toddler swings, a group swing, slides, a cubby house, and a rope bridge; and another for older children, equipped with a climbing tower, bridges, slides, a fireman's pole, rope courses, and tunnels. Surrounded by lush greenery, the playground includes a sandpit with a water tap, a stone garden, and diverse flooring materials such as bark, softfall, and grass. The area is fully accessible, with pathways leading to the play equipment, a ramp to the top of the tower, and a specially designed wheelchair-accessible carousel. Additional amenities include shaded seating, picnic tables, electric and wood-fired barbecues, a water fountain, and an amenities block adjacent to the playground. Parking is available at a rate of $4 per hour or $12 per day. Richley Reserve Playground is open 24 hours a day, providing a safe and enjoyable environment for families to gather and children to explore.
