With a population of 85 as of the 2021 census, it offers a tranquil residential environment. The area is renowned for its fine merino wool production, supplying high-quality fleece to the Italian fashion market. While lacking commercial establishments, Reids Flat features a public hall, showground, and is surrounded by picturesque landscapes.
