
Reedy Marsh is a rural locality in Tasmania's Meander Valley, approximately 23 kilometers northwest of Westbury. As of the 2016 census, it has a population of 185 residents. The area is characterized by its natural beauty, with the Meander River forming part of its southern boundary. Access is provided by River Road, and National Route 1 (Bass Highway) passes to the south. In 2024, a proposal for a bauxite quarry in Reedy Marsh was assessed by the Environment Protection Authority, considering environmental factors such as dust emissions and water quality.
