Rathmines Theatre, also known as nawayiba, is a heritage venue located at 25 Stilling Street, Rathmines, NSW 2283. The term "nawayiba" means "canoe place" in the Awabakal language, referring to the scar trees left behind by Aboriginal people making canoes. The theatre offers a 200-seat capacity, a 6.5m deep x 9m wide stage, a commercial kitchen, and accessible facilities, including a platform lift to the stage and a hearing loop in the auditorium. It hosts live performances, exhibitions, festivals, and private functions.
