
Established in 1918, Quilpie State College offers quality education to students from Prep to Year 10 in Quilpie, Queensland. The school provides a comprehensive curriculum encompassing English, Mathematics, Science, and Key Learning Areas such as the Arts, Health and Physical Education, Studies of Society and the Environment, Languages Other Than English (Japanese for Years 5-8), and Technology, including Industrial Design & Technology, Home Economics, and Information Communication Technology. Students participate in a variety of sports, advancing to district, regional, and state levels. The school emphasizes a responsive and future-oriented learning environment, preparing students for the demands of a changing world. Community engagement is highly valued, fostering student involvement despite the remote location. Facilities include general classrooms, a manual arts room, resource centre, science/art and home economics rooms, all fully air-conditioned.
