Queensland National Hotel

The Queensland National Hotel, built in 1890 and designed by architect John William Wilson, is a heritage-listed two-storey timber building located at 28 Morgan Street, Mount Morgan. Its distinctive features include a central hall, a grand dining area, and nine accommodation rooms, many with verandas offering views of the surrounding mountains and historic mine site. The building's tower, once used during World War II as an observation point, adds to its historical significance. Today, the hotel stands as a testament to Mount Morgan's rich mining heritage and architectural history.
