🚨 WARNING – ELDERLY PEOPLE TREATED APPALLINGLY 🚨 If you’re elderly, unwell, or not tech-savvy — do NOT deal with this business. Mistakes are punished, not understood. My elderly father, recovering from heart surgery, made a genuine mistake booking online after being redirected via OpenTable and accidentally booking Quando Quando. He immediately called, apologised, and asked to cancel. What did they do? 👉 Demanded screenshots AND his credit card details 👉 Told him he’d “wasted their time” 👉 Threatened to charge him $40–$50 👉 Left him distressed, shaken, and humiliated When I called calmly to fix it: • I was refused management • Lied to (“they’ve left” — at 12pm lunch 🙄) • Then subjected to a screaming, abusive phone call full of victim-playing and laughable legal threats This was not a mistake — it was bullying an elderly man who struggled with technology. Requesting credit card details in this situation is deeply concerning. The behaviour was hostile, childish, and completely unprofessional.
