The Probus Club of Runaway Bay, established in 1985 and transitioning to a mixed-member club in 2015, offers retirees opportunities for social interaction and personal growth. Monthly meetings occur on the second Monday at 10 am at the Runaway Bay Junior Leagues Club (Seagulls), 225 Morala Ave, Runaway Bay. Each meeting features a brief general session, morning tea, and a presentation from an engaging guest speaker. Members also enjoy regular outings, including luncheons, day trips, and extended excursions, fostering a vibrant community spirit. New members are always welcome to join in the camaraderie and activities.
