Nestled in the remote Jagungal Wilderness of Kosciuszko National Park, Pretty Plain Hut is a substantial log cabin built in the 1930s as a base for ski touring. Measuring 8 by 6 meters with three rooms, it features a large fireplace and wooden slab floors. The hut was destroyed by bushfires in January 2003 and rebuilt on-site between 2009 and 2010. Accessible via the Granite Knob Trail, Pretty Plain Hut offers excellent shelter in an otherwise remote area of the park.
