Powers Lookout, perched above the King Valley in Whitlands, offers panoramic views of the surrounding mountains and valleys. This historic site was once the hideout of Harry Power, a notorious bushranger of the 1860s. Accessible via a three-kilometre gravel road from the Mansfield-Whitfield Road, the lookout features two platforms: - **First Lookout**: Wheelchair accessible, providing expansive vistas of the King Valley and Alpine National Park. - **Second Lookout**: A 0.4-kilometre walk with a series of ladders leads to a viewing platform at the northernmost point of the rocky outcrop. Additionally, a 20-minute return walk through the bush to a waterhole amidst beautiful rocky ledges is available. Facilities include picnic tables and toilets.
