Venue

Blackheath, NSW

Nestled at the base of Mount Blackheath, Potters Cottages offers a secluded retreat on a 100-acre property in the Kanimbla Valley. Surrounded by Blue Mountains escarpments, tranquil forests, and native grasslands, the area is abundant with wildlife, including kangaroos, echidnas, goannas, wombats, and a variety of birds. The eco-friendly cottages, designed by Australian Potter John Robertson, are constructed with natural materials and recycled timber. Completely off the grid, they are solar-powered and utilize natural spring water. Each cottage features two bedrooms, a cozy wood fireplace, and a fully equipped kitchen. The property is pet-friendly, welcoming well-trained dogs under 25 kg. Located approximately 12 km from Blackheath village, guests can enjoy nearby attractions such as the Campbell Rhododendron Garden, art galleries, and the Blackheath Golf Club. For outdoor enthusiasts, activities like hiking, bird watching, and horse riding are readily accessible. Please note that the last 3 km of Kanimbla Drive to the cottages is a dirt road; driving slowly is recommended due to wildlife crossings.
