Nestled in Port Pirie's Cultural Precinct, the Port Pirie Regional Art Gallery showcases a diverse array of exhibitions, emphasizing regional South Australian artists. Established in 1992 within the former baggage room of the city's decommissioned railway station, the gallery was transformed into a dedicated A-class art space in 1994. Its collection features works inspired by the Flinders Ranges, including pieces by Hans Heysen and Lawrence Daws. The gallery offers facilities such as an Artist in Residence Studio, Community Gallery, and Workshop, and engages with schools, aged care, disability, and youth services through inclusive public programs. Visitors can also enjoy a gallery shop, workshops, and artist talks. The gallery is a short walk from the city centre and easily accessible by car or bus.
