The Port Office, located at 39 Edward Street in Brisbane City, is a heritage-listed building constructed between 1879 and 1929. Designed by Colonial Architect Francis Drummond Greville Stanley and built by John Petrie, it showcases restrained Classical detailing and decorative cast-iron work. The building features a prominent entry porch, three gable-ended projecting bays connected by verandahs, and a combination of rendered brick walls with a rolled iron roof. Internally, it has been adapted to include specialty shops and a restaurant and bar on the top floor.
