Port Noarlunga Beach, located approximately 30 kilometers south of Adelaide, is a picturesque seaside village renowned for its red sandstone cliffs, long jetty, and reef, making it one of South Australia's iconic diving destinations. The offshore Port Noarlunga Reef and aquatic reserve form part of the Encounter Marine Park, offering a paradise for divers and snorkelers, viewable from the end of the jetty. The safe swimming beach is patrolled by the Port Noarlunga Surf Lifesaving Club over the warmer months and also forms part of the Mid Coast regional surfing reserve – Australia's first.
