Established in 1947, Point Lookout Surf Life Saving Club is a family-oriented organization dedicated to beach safety and community engagement. Located on Main Beach, North Stradbroke Island, it is the only Queensland Surf Club to patrol two beaches and offers weekend accommodation in a traditional bunkroom. The club's Junior Activities (Nippers) program teaches surf awareness, lifesaving, and resuscitation skills. The Point Bar, open on weekends and during holidays, provides stunning views of Main Beach and is open to the public. The club also offers facilities for hire for weddings, functions, and camps.
