
Piyura Kitina, also known as Risdon Cove, is a culturally rich site in Tasmania's East Derwent region. Operated by the Tasmanian Aboriginal Centre, it offers the 'kipli takara' bush tucker tour, a 90-minute guided walk where visitors sample native bush foods and learn about the area's history. The experience concludes with a tasting of native flavors from Palawa Kipli, the Tasmanian Aboriginal-owned catering company. Public tours include access to Piyura Kitina, a guided walk, and native finger food and drinks. Private cultural dining experiences are also available for groups of up to 30 people.
