Perched atop Kunanyi / Mount Wellington at 1,270 meters, the Pinnacle Observation Shelter and Boardwalk offer panoramic vistas of Hobart, the Derwent River, and the World Heritage Area to the west. The 150-meter boardwalk provides a leisurely stroll through alpine vegetation, leading to the shelter's viewing platform, which offers shelter from the wind and uninterrupted views of Greater Hobart. Accessible year-round, the area is equipped with parking and toilet facilities. Visitors are advised to dress warmly, as the summit can experience rapidly changing and extreme weather conditions.
