Nestled in Bago State Forest near Batlow and Laurel Hill, Pilot Hill Arboretum offers a serene picnic area surrounded by lush forests. Established in the 1920s and 1930s, it features over fifty tree species from around the world. Visitors can explore two short walking tracks: the Alpine Ash Walk, a one-kilometre loop showcasing sculptures from the Bago Sculpture Forest, and the Wellness Walk, an interactive trail with features like the Sound Pod and Sky Seat, designed to enhance the forest experience. The arboretum is part of the Snowy Valleys Nature Wellness Drive and Sculpture Trail.
