Mount Pikapene National Park, established in January 1999, spans 2,630 hectares along the southern section of the Richmond Range. The park features diverse ecosystems, including dry rainforests and tall moist forests dominated by spotted gum, grey gum, brush box, turpentine, and pink bloodwood. The highest peak, Big Sugarloaf, rises 525 meters above sea level. Visitors can explore various walking trails, enjoy birdwatching, and experience the park's rich biodiversity.
