The Pascoe Vale Food Collective is a community-run initiative that offers low-waste, bulk-buying options for residents of Pascoe Vale and surrounding suburbs. Operated by volunteers, it sources grocery and cleaning products in bulk, providing these items to members and visitors on a monthly distribution day. Open on the second Saturday of each month from 9:30 to 11:30 AM, the Collective is located at the Pascoe Vale Senior Citizens Centre, 20 Norton Street, Pascoe Vale. They encourage the community to bring their own containers for filling and always have clean jars and paper bags available to make the process easy. Membership options include casual visits and annual memberships. The Collective is supported and funded by the Merri-bek City Council Community Grants Program and the Inner North Community Foundation. They acknowledge operating on the lands of the Wurundjeri Woi Wurrung, the traditional owners and custodians of the area, and pay respects to their Elders past, present, and emerging.
