Built in 1875, Oxley Shire Hall is the oldest continually used community building in North-East Victoria. Located at 1157 Snow Road, Oxley, it serves as a vibrant hub for the local community, hosting events like movie nights, barbecues, and fundraisers. The hall features a spacious main area with a stage, a smaller meeting room, a supper room, and a fully equipped kitchen. Surrounded by open grounds shaded by 140-year-old elm trees, it offers a picturesque setting for various occasions. Managed by a volunteer committee on behalf of the Rural City of Wangaratta, the hall is available for hire for weddings, luncheons, meetings, community events, and sporting activities. It also hosts the annual Oxley Bush Market every November, attracting visitors from near and far. With ample parking for both cars and buses, the venue is easily accessible and ideal for gatherings of all sizes.
