Established in 1928, the Mortdale Chapter of the Order of the Eastern Star has a rich history of community engagement and charitable contributions. Over its 93 years, the chapter organized various events, including balls, fetes, and dances, to support numerous charities and maintain their hall. In January 2022, the chapter held its final meeting, concluding a legacy of service and fellowship in the Mortdale area.
