
Orange Hill is a rural locality in Queensland's Maranoa Region, approximately 8.7 km north of Roma. The area spans 35.0 square kilometers and has a population of 179 residents. Bungil Creek forms its eastern boundary, and the Carnarvon Highway runs through it from south to north. The predominant land use is cattle grazing. Historically, the Northern Road Provisional School operated here from 1891 until its closure after November 1939. The locality was officially named and bounded on 20 July 2001.
