The area is characterized by a mix of grazing on native vegetation and crop cultivation. The Burnett Highway forms its eastern boundary, while the Dawson Highway runs along its south-western edge. The Moura railway line traverses the locality from north-east to south-east, though there are no railway stations within its limits. The locality is bordered by Greycliffe to the north, Jambin to the north-east, Callide to the east, Dakenba to the south-east, Prospect to the south, and Banana to the west.
