
Orana Community Centre, formerly known as Lavington Springdale Heights Community Centre, is a welcoming hub in Springdale Heights, NSW. It offers facilitated playgroups with weekly themes, a spacious outdoor area for children, and opportunities for parents, grandparents, and carers to socialize. The centre provides various classes and social groups, fostering a friendly and inclusive atmosphere where individuals can meet new people and learn new skills. Additionally, in partnership with Gateway Community Health, Orana runs a free Mother Goose Program on Mondays during school terms, designed for parents and babies aged 0–2 years. The centre operates Monday to Thursday from 9:00 am to 3:30 pm, and Friday from 9:00 am to 1:00 pm. Annual membership fees are $20, with most activities having a small session fee. Parental supervision is required for playgroup sessions, which are suitable for children from 0 to 5 years old.
