Oakes Oval

Oakes Oval, located at 144 Magellan Street in Lismore, is a premier sporting venue with a capacity of 10,000. It features a turf wicket, change rooms, referees' rooms, first aid facilities, and a canteen. The complex has hosted state, national, and international events for rugby league, football, baseball, and cricket, attracting major sporting events due to its excellent facilities and friendly hospitality. The venue includes covered grandstand seating, floodlights, and a function room. In 2025, Oakes Oval won the NSW title for best practice in a community football facility, placing it in contention for the national Ken Gannon Community Football Facility Award.
