The Nyah District Harness Racing Club, established in 1965, has a rich history in the Nyah community. In 2012, the club relocated its meetings to the Swan Hill Racecourse, approximately 29 kilometers northwest of Nyah. The Swan Hill Racecourse features a 1,040-meter granitic sand track with a 205-meter home straight, accommodating mobile and standing starts over various distances. The venue offers on-course facilities, including dining options and a sprint lane, enhancing the racing experience for participants and spectators alike.
