Nyaal Banyul Geelong Convention and Event Centre, opening in July 2026, is a purpose-built venue located on the Geelong waterfront. The name, meaning 'open your eyes to the hills' in Wadawurrung language, reflects the site's cultural significance and encourages visitors to appreciate the surrounding landscapes. The centre features a 1,000-seat theatre, 3,700 square metres of flexible event space, meeting rooms with waterfront views, and a 200-room Crowne Plaza hotel. Additional amenities include retail spaces, diverse eateries, and a public plaza, all designed with sustainability and universal accessibility in mind.
