
Numinbah Conservation Area, spanning 593 hectares, extends from Springbrook Conservation Area down the escarpment to Waterfall Creek and the eastern slopes of Numinbah Valley. Accessible via Chesters Road off Nerang Murwillumbah Road, it offers trails suitable for bushwalking, horse riding, and mountain biking. The area is part of the Scenic Rim Environmental Province, featuring subtropical and cool temperate rainforests, and is home to native wildlife such as swamp wallabies, koalas, and various bird species. Approximately four kilometres of the 54-kilometre Great Walk traverses through Numinbah Conservation Area.
