Established in 1992, the Nimbin Hemp Embassy is a non-profit organization dedicated to cannabis law reform through community education about hemp and cannabis. Located in Nimbin, New South Wales, the Embassy operates a shop offering a variety of hemp-based products, including clothing, accessories, and educational materials. It also sponsors the annual MardiGrass Cannabis Law Reform Rally, featuring an international conference, The Hemposium, which provides information on industrial hemp, medicinal cannabis, and drug law reform. The Embassy supports local community groups, including the Aboriginal Cultural Centre, and maintains a comprehensive reference library on topics such as industrial hemp, medicinal usage, and law reform issues.
