Nestled in Tasmania's Huon Valley, Nicholls Rivulet is a tranquil rural locality approximately 26 kilometers southeast of Huonville. The area is characterized by rolling pastures, tall Tasmanian timbers, and a permanent creek running through its center, offering picturesque rural and mountain views. The 2016 census recorded a population of 311 residents. The locality is accessible via Route B68 (Channel Highway) and Route C626 (Nicholls Rivulet Road). Notably, the former Methodist Church, built in 1901, has been restored and now serves as The Living History Museum of Aboriginal Cultural Heritage & Gardens of the South East Nation.
