Newcastle Racecourse, established over a century ago, serves as the home of the Newcastle Jockey Club and stands as the largest provincial club in New South Wales. The venue hosts more than 40 race meetings annually, including notable events like the Newcastle Stakes Race Day in March, the two-day Spring Racing Carnival in September, and the $1 million The Hunter Race Day in November.
