New Theatre

Established in 1932, New Theatre is Sydney's oldest continuously operating theatre company, located at 542 King Street, Newtown. It has a rich history of producing diverse and thought-provoking performances, reflecting its commitment to presenting real, raw, and new works. The theatre is situated diagonally opposite the top of Alice Street, with the stage door located in Iredale Street. Patrons can access the venue via a ten-minute walk from both Newtown and St Peters Railway Stations. Please note that the theatre operates on an EFTPOS-only basis for both ticket and bar sales.
