
Beaumont House, built in 1849 by the first Anglican Bishop of Adelaide, Augustus Short, is a State Heritage-listed property located at 631 Glynburn Road, Beaumont. The house features a distinctive Mediterranean character with an open brickwork parapet in soft terracotta colours and a central flat roof. The property includes beautiful gardens, an olive grove, and offers guided tours on the first Sunday of each month (except January) from 2 pm to 4:30 pm, with afternoon tea available. Beaumont House is also available for venue hire, making it an ideal setting for weddings and other special events.
