The National Orchid Extravaganza, held annually at The Arena Sports Club in Yagoona, showcases Australia's finest orchids. This event features vibrant displays, including championship cymbidiums, floral art, and individual blooms. Visitors can purchase top-quality plants from renowned vendors such as David Keanelly Orchids, Orchid Mania, and The Orchid Place. The 2025 extravaganza is scheduled for August 8–10, with viewing times on Friday and Saturday from 9 am to 4 pm, and Sunday from 9 am to 3 pm. Admission is $10 for adults, $5 for pensioners, and free for children under 14. Ample free parking is available.
