The ferry accommodates up to eight vehicles, facilitating exploration of the surrounding area, including the back of the historic Poltalloch Station and the church featured on the Australian $50 note in Raukkan. The adjacent campsite offers free parking for up to 72 hours, with facilities such as toilets, picnic areas, and shelter.
