Nankin is a rural locality in Queensland's Livingstone Shire, approximately 15 kilometers east of Rockhampton's CBD. The area encompasses 194.6 square kilometers and has a population of 176 residents. Historically, Nankin was served by several now-abandoned railway stations, including Nankin Junction and Leaholme. The Rockhampton-Emu Park Road traverses the locality from southwest to northwest. Notable features include the former Nankin Junction State School, which operated from 1899 until its closure around 1940.
