Nanarup Beach, located approximately 20 km east of Albany in Western Australia's Great Southern region, offers a pristine 4.2 km stretch of white sand bordered by calcarenite bluffs to the east and dunes to the west. Accessible via a stairway at the western end, the beach features picnic areas, barbecues, and toilet facilities. Taylor Inlet discharges through the beach, providing opportunities for exploration. Popular for surfing and fishing, the area allows four-wheel-drive vehicles to traverse the beach, extending to Two Peoples Bay. A lookout on the eastern side offers whale watching during the season. Please note, swimming in the inlet is not recommended.
