Nain Lutheran Church and cemetery

Nain Lutheran Church, established in 1856, is the oldest Lutheran church with a continuous congregation in Australia. Its distinctive Norman Gothic architecture, featuring a crenellated tower, reflects its rich history. The church is part of the Greenock Lutheran Parish, which rotates services among its three congregations: St Peter's in Greenock, Gnadenfrei St Michael's in Marananga, and Nain Lutheran Church in Nain. The adjacent cemetery, established in 1857, serves as the final resting place for many early settlers from Prussia, offering a glimpse into the area's pioneering past.
