The Murtoa Memorial Gates, erected in 1921, stand as a poignant tribute to the men from Murtoa who served in World War I. This white-painted concrete arch, adorned with four pillars and topped by a bronze soldier statue, serves as the entrance to Lake Marma Reserve. The memorial was redeveloped in 2006 to honor those who served in World Wars I and II, as well as the Vietnam War. Notably, it is one of only three memorial arches of its kind in Victoria.
